Quite a few of our boys signed off campus on both Friday evening and during Saturday and with talking to the boys, quite a few connections and friendships are being formed.
Some of our boys spent today out at Elk Lake in a rowing regatta, others spent the day studying.
We had a lot of our boarders involved in the weekend activities today. We had a collection of activities including a scavenger hunt, Zoomba, a trip to a fall fair, volunteering at a local seniors lodge, and a trip to a vintage fair. Every Saturday there’s activities that the boys can select from and we, as house parents, try to ensure we have a wide variety so there’s always something for each boy!
As the year goes by, I’ll be taking photos of the boys and uploading them to a website at: http://photos.twaddle.ca/2012-2013-boarding – feel free to browse or download any of the photos (just click on the $0.00 link) – and they’ll be in your email shortly after.
Next weekend is the first long weekend of the year. The boys finish class on Thursday October 4 after school and we will be looking forward to seeing them back here on Monday October 8 after 3:00 pm.
